Are you still looking for some fun and creative ways to make your Halloween Table spooktacular? Then here is a recipe you will die to have your teeth sink into. 

These Obsidian Poison Toffee Apples are made using @kissabel_apples from @marksandspencerfood and really WILL make you want to take a bite and provide the perfect poison apple illusion for your Halloween table.

Easy and fun to make you need:

4 Kissabel Apples
200gms castor sugar
1/2 Teaspoon of Vinegar
2 Tablespoons of Golden Syrup
1 Teaspoon of Red Dye Gel
1 Teaspoon of Black Dye Gel
50MLs Water

1. Wash and thoroughly dry the apples. Insert sticks of your choice into the tops of the apple cores. Make sure they are firmly holding the apple.
2. Add the sugar and water to a heavy-based saucepan and heat on low heat until the sugar is fully dissolved.
3. Add the vinegar and golden syrup and cook on a low to medium heat until reaching a ‘hard crack’ temperature of 150degrees celsius. You can also test the toffee by dropping a small amount in cold water. It will harden instantly and crack when ready. If still soft, continue heating.
4. Turn off the heat when ready, and stir through the red and black dyes.
5. Work quickly to dip the apples into the hot toffee and place on a silicon baking sheet till set. Be sure the apples are fully cooled and set before eating.

RASPBERRY & HAZELNUT DARK CHOCOLATE FUDGE These v RASPBERRY & HAZELNUT DARK CHOCOLATE FUDGE

These vegan fudge bars are the perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth. Made with only a handful of simple ingredients, these vegan fudge squares are so easy to make and taste so good. Try them out for yourself and let me know what you think! #veganfudgerecipe

=FUDGE=
100gms of fresh raspberries
50gms of roughly chopped hazelnuts
1 can of @naturescharm Sweetened Coconut Condensed Milk
400gms of 80% Dark Chocolate @callebaut_chocolate @callebautchocolate
Capful of Vanilla Extract

=TOPPINGS=
Dehydrated Raspberries
Chopped Hazelnuts

=TO MAKE=
1. Prepare a rectangular/square dish with some baking paper and set aside. 
2. Add the Condensed Coconut Milk, Chocolate, Fresh Raspberries and Hazelnuts into a pan and heat while stirring over a low heat until the chocolate is nearly melted.
3. Add the Vanilla Extract and continue stirring until the chocolate is fully melted. Be careful not to overheat the mixture or the chocolate will burn. 
4. Remove from heat and pour immediately into your prepared paper lined dish.
5. Sprinkle the top of the fudge with the Dehydrated raspberries and more hazelnuts. Press gently into the surface of the fudge. 
6. Set in fridge until solid. Take approx 5 hours.
7. Slice into squares with a sharp knife heated slightly in some hot water to assist with cutting. 
8. Enjoy immediately or store covered in the fridge for up to a week.

Hope you all are having a wonderful Easter weekend. For Easter this year I created @moo_free_chocolates vegan white chocolate half eggs filled with slices of fresh mango and passionfruit, ganache montée coco topped with a pâte sablée biscuit et confit passion-mangue. 

This particular dessert was inspired by @aureliencohen online Tartelettes Exotique Masterclass. I utilized the skills I learnt in the class to create an easter vegan version of his incredible tarte. The class I attended went for 2 hours online and was in french (however I do believe he may also do english classes). Chef Aurelien Cohen went through his recipe step by step recreating the tarte in real-time, thoroughly explaining each process and taking time to answer questions along the way. Do check out his classes if you wish to up your pastry skills. I not only found his teaching methods enjoyable, but also extremely informative, and I learnt a whole lot of tips and technical skills from the one masterclass.

Why have plain Easter eggs when you can have chewy toffee Easter Egg Cookies! These vegan cookies are so incredible you will not be able to stop with just one. Not only can you have them now, because they are just so quick and easy to make, but you can also make them after Easter, when you have no idea what to do with all those left over chocolate eggs. In fact this recipe can be adapted all year round with any chocolate of your choice. To make:

INGREDIENTS (Makes Approx. 12 Large Cookies)
100 g Unsalted Vegan Butter (softened at room temperature)
100 g light brown sugar
50 g caster sugar
200 g self-raising flour
1 tbsp of ground Flax Seed
2 tbsp Toffee Syrup
0.25 tsp Vanilla Essence
0.25 tsp salt
200 g Chips/Chopped Chocolate/Broken Easter Eggs. I prefer to use dark but any will work.
12 Mini Easter Eggs of your choice (homemade or store bought or leftovers)

METHOD
1. Mix the flax seed with 3 Tblsp of cold water and allow to sit for at least 15mins to create a flax seed egg.
2. Using a mixer, cream together the butter and sugar until pale and fluffy.
3. Add the flax egg, Vanilla Essence & Toffee Syrup and whip into the sugar and butter.
4. Add the flour and salt, mix until the cookie dough comes together, then add the chocolate chips. Mix through evenly.
5. On a baking tray lined with paper, divide dough into 12 even balls. Leave enough space for cookies to spread.
6. Place cookies balls in a very cold fridge or freezer for at least 15mins to firm and cool the dough.
7. Bake in oven at gas 4/180C for 12-15 mins, until slightly golden.
8. Take out the cookies and place a mini chocolate egg in the center of each cookie. Place back into the oven for an additional 30 secs to slightly melt the egg into the cookie.
9. Remove cookies from oven, and allow to cool and harden on tray.

A fun, quick and easy easter recipe to make with the kids. These nests use crunchy fried chow mein noodles, crunchy peanut butter, dark chocolate and a smidge of golden or maple syrup for a touch of sweetness. When set, they can be used as the perfect easter themed edible vessle to serve up a range of sweets and desserts including chocolate mousse, custards, ice cream, fresh fruits, or simply add a few of your favourite @doisyanddam Good Chocolate Eggs and @moo_free_chocolates chocolate bunnies and munch away as you please. 

INGREDIENTS (Makes 6-8 Baskets)
- 100gms Crunchy Peanut Butter or another of your favourite crunchy nut butter
- 10gms Coconut Oil
- 141gms (1 Tin) La Choy or other crunchy fried chow mein noodles
- 150gms Melted Dark Chocolate @callebautchocolate 80%
- 30gms of Golden or Maple Syrup

METHOD
1. Melt chocolate using your preferred method.
2. In a separate bowl, place the peanut butter, golden syrup, and coconut oil. Place in the microwave and melt for 1 minute on high or until a runny consistency.
3. Combine the peanut butter mixture with the melted chocolate and mix thoroughly.
4. Add to noodles and mix till all the noodles are thoroughly coated.
5. Add a few spoons into bowl shaped moulds. Press and build up around the outer edge to create nest like shapes. 
6. Set in the fridge for at least an hour or until hardened.
